Hi there!

We’re opening Cože?, a new community space in Letná — part café, part bar, part gallery, part garden — built to give local artists and students a place to showcase their work in a relaxed cultural setting where people meet every day.

Who we’re looking for:

• Students and (emerging) artists from Prague and nearby
• Visual 2D work such as: painting, illustration, graphic art, photography, prints, collage, mixed-media pieces(Sculpture or small installations are possible, but only by individual agreement depending on space capacity.)

What we offer:

• Exhibition wall space inside Cože?
• 3-month rotation cycle — keeping the gallery fresh and open to more artists throughout the year
• Artists set their own prices
• 10% commission only on sold artwork (used purely to cover exhibition-related operational costs)
• Promotion across our social media + inside the venue
• Option to host an opening night, artist talk, or small vernissage event (friendly, informal, low pressure)

How to apply / What to send:

• Portfolio or 3–6 examples of your work (PDF or link)
• Short description of your project or series (max 10 sentences)
• Preferred number of pieces, sizes, and formats
• Short bio (who you are, what you do, Instagram tag if you have one)

Submission deadline:

• Rolling applications (open year-round)
  (Curated selection happens 2 weeks before each new rotation cycle.)

Technical details:

• Hanging method: nails, adhesive hooks, or framed works — we provide and handle installation
• Preferred artwork sizes: 30×40 cm up to 100×120 cm (a mix of sizes is welcome)
• Frames are not required, but appreciated
• Art should be ready to hang (or we can finalize setup together on site)

What we don’t accept:

Hate content, AI-generated portfolios, political campaign material, or extremely fragile pieces that cannot be safely installed

Cože? isn’t a formal gallery — it’s a community-led creative hub where art lives alongside conversations, coffee, wine, and culture.
A place for ideas, people, and projects to circulate freely.
